My future job

Hello everyone. Today i will tell you about what i expect from my job once i graduate.

Well, i'm studying to be a pharmacist and actually i'm in love with my career. There are so many paths where i can develope as a professional, and to be honest, is not easy to specific one area, so i'll talk about three of them in which i could be working at future.

The first one is clinic pharmacy. In general, it's about prescribing the best pharmacological therapy according to the medical diagnostic for each patient. The reason i like it is, firstly, because it would be great working there in a hospital next to the doctors and nurses in the very place of action, and secondly because people go there looking for help and you can        give them solutions for their affections.

Other interesting path in pharmacy is the investigation, which have a high importance nowdays, as new illnes arises, so new drugs does with it. Though medical science have improved a lot the quality life of people, there's still much to progress in the field of health and deseases cure. And honestly, creating a drug is one of the things i must do before die!

Finally, teaching area woul be nice too. I admire many of my teachers and it would be nice to educate professionals from your same discipline.

My ideal world: Education for everybody

Hello. Today i'm gonna tell you about how my ideal world would be. Actually there are so many ways to expect an ideal world, but i'm gonna talk in terms of oportunities to access to higher education.

Nowdays is a big feat to study at university for many people for many reasons, one of the most important is to have money to pay it. Although there are some statal economical supports like sholarships and credits, the university financing is whole topic, as not everyone can cost what the system demands, and because of the debt you catch from your studies. But now people is calling out for more equality and facilities to make affordable the payment of a career, so i believe in a future with more economical chances to get to higher education, maybe with free education or more financing facilities.

Another important thing is the selctivity of some institutions, specially the more prestigious universities. I don't think selection is bad, in fact i think it is necessary, but the current system limits very much the posibilities of people in general with, for example, a high school marks average which is related to the behavior of a person during a phase of high inmaturity and emotional inestability. Of course i don't think that ignore high school marks at all is the solution, but not to condition people for the rest of their lives to their academic performance at teenager. Maybe a good solution would be if we had the chance to repeat the high school once it's finished in institutions for adults or by free exams if we were not mature enough at the beginning, and of course if you had a good average at first, then you're ready!

And not less important is the university selection test, PSU. On the contrary to what many people say, i think it can be a good filter, but we really need to equalize the chances to have a good result on it, since it's clear that not everybody can pay a pre-college academy or a private school, so i think that an affordable solution would be if the government insured all the public libraries, specially in districts with less resources, to have a certain number of study texts, so every student would have all the posibilities to make a good test and get into university.

My favourite artist

Hello. Today i´m gonna talk to you about my favourite artist. Actually it is difficult to pick up a favourite one, there's a lot of good music, but if i have to say one, that is James Blunt.

James Hillner Blount, stagely known as James Blunt, is a british singer-songwriter. His musical genders includes pop-rock, soft-rock and folk-rock with an acoustic shade.

Before becoming an artist he studied sociology and then he served to the Army.  In 1999 he acted with the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo's war. In fact he was the first british officer to enter in the capital of Kosovo.

In 2002 he gave up being a militar and started his musical carreer, becoming famous in 2005 after releasing his first album "Back to Bedlam", specially for his song "You're Beautiful". My favourite ones are "Carry you home" from "Back to Bedlam" and "Stay the Night" and "So far Gone" from his third album "Some Kind of Trouble".

In 2012 i went to his concert here in Santiago, at Movistar Arena. It was great! Here is a link of a video of that concert.
